Locally

The closest village is St Quentin la Poterie (3km).  It is a delightful Provençale village and home to some 35 potters and other craftsmen who hold fairs throughout the summer months.  Local facilities include a small supermarket (Shoppi), a butcher, two boulangeries, a chemist, post office, hairdresser, doctors, dentists and Tourist Office as well as a number of restaurants, a café/bar and an excellent Friday Market.

UzesUzes (4km) is one of the most lively and sophisticated small towns in France.  Home to the oldest and premier Duchy in France - the family still live in their Chateau and have done so since the 12th Century.  Discover the antique shops, the Medieval Gardens, the Cathedral, the Castle and the 12th Century Fenestrelle Tower and visit the National Horse Stud.  There are a number of museums and art fairs, as well as a series of musical evenings in July.  There are also garlic, truffle and wine fairs.  Markets are on Wednesday and Saturday.  The latter is amongst the best in France. Uzes is truly a lovely town-there is a glorious ambience of years gone by and the pace of life is delightfully languid.

Montaren
(4km) is a medieval circular village of great charm and character. It has a boulangerie, a Tabac and a hairdresser.  Just over a km from Montaren in the direction of Uzes is a small retail centre containing a large super market (Intermarche), a BricoMarche and a variety of other enterprises.
